A Brief on Ukraine.
- What if there was no war and Ukraine is not part of NATO? - Ukraine has all the ingredients to become a strong nation within Europe that can uphold non-aligned policy or be on side with Russia/China.
- If Ukraine is not part of NATO, NATO would like to see - a weaker Ukraine.
- Who instigated or can be the root cause of the Ukraine crisis - NATO/The US.
- Who can avoid the Ukraine crisis - All three parties.
- Who is the blameworthy aggressor in this current war - Putin of Russia
- What failure caused the war - the failure of Ukrainian politics and Zelensky.
- Why is the US/NATO fighting a silent battle with Russia through Ukraine? Russia is the weaker link within the Russia/China axis.
- Who will suffer most at the end of this fight - Russians and Ukrainians.
- What NATO/EU ultimately want, maybe in 20 years - Russia part of EU or make Russia much weaker.
A statesman or stateswoman is a respected, skilled, and experienced political leader or figure. In most respects, a statesman is the opposite of a politician. Politicians are thought of as people who will say or do anything to get elected or gain power. A statesman is someone who does everything for the common good of the people they represent. To call a person, a statesman is a mark of high regard for that person's integrity. A politician usually implies the person is worthy of very little esteem to call someone.
Zelensky, in many respects, just acts like a politician and a puppet for the west. He/Ukraine had examples of Finland, another neighboring country of Russia. Both these nations are in the EU but not part of Nato, Finland is a prosperous state and keeps a non-aligned policy towards both the US and Russia. It is also their short-term political gains that trump the Nation's interest. It is also because they can't act like a statesman because their politics is of division. At least during the crisis period, he should have served with higher responsibility. This lack of accountability has caused the plight of the Ukrainians.
US increased LNG exports by 15 billion cubic meters, and the US and EU announced a major gas deal. This is what we call fish in muddy waters. Ukraine and Russia are still in that dirty water to their fault, and the US is the clever fisherman at the shore. Still, souls of 'no value' in millions around us lost their life, home, and livelihood.
Nehru once said that diplomatic stagnation over an imminent war is always better than a war. That's from the statesman Nehru. This war, in many ways, was a failure of Ukrainian politics and the immature leadership of Zelensky.

If Ukraine is part of the EU, it eases future EU energy needs. European multinationals can tap the resources and make more money. At the same time, they can reduce Russian dependency. Also, it can use Ukraine as a bulwark against Russia, and Russia doesn't want that to happen.
