Short Beach, Lost Boy beach, Cape Mears, and Netarts.

In and around Tillamook, there are many places you can visit. Short beach /Lost Boy Beach is a hidden gem along the Oregon coast, and it is in Tillamook.

Direction  : 

Nearest location point: 2600 Radar Road, Tillamook, OR

From Tillamook, take 131 towards Cape Mears,  left on to Radar Road.

We parked on the roadside near Short beach trailhead.

There are two waterfalls on the seashore, don't forget to check out both. A walk to Larsen creek falls (refer map) is a a pleasant one. 

How to make it to Lost boy beach from Short beach?

It is easier and may be safer to make it to the other side during the low tide.

and wait for super low tide lower than -1.5 ft.

Walk opposite to Larsen Creek falls towards the rocks, climb up the rock and go through the arch.  Check the ocean water level before crossing the cave/arch section.

Since you are already there at Short beach, you may also explore Cape Meares lighthouse. After that,  the drive to Sandlake Recreation area via Netarts Bay Dr/Whiskey creek road is also an equally enjoyable one.
